Nelson Mandela

A symbol of resilience and reconciliation, Nelson Mandela led South Africa out of apartheid and became its first democratically elected president. His ability to forgive and unite a deeply divided nation is something I find profoundly inspiring.

He showed that leadership is not about power, but about healing and progress. I have a poster of him in my office and my favorite quote of his is simply, “ It always seems impossible until it is done.” Watch an older Nelson Mandela appear on stage with Johnny Clegg.
